Meet Amy: the heart behind Grace Guidance

Welcome to a space where reflection meets resilience. I’m Amy, a wellness coach and the creator of Grace Guidance. This work was built to offer a steady place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find clarity through life’s transitions. My own journey through loss, growth, and rebuilding shaped this space, one rooted in honesty, curiosity, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

A journey of rebuilding

Growing up in Juneau, Alaska, I learned early on that life doesn’t always follow a smooth or predictable path. Living in a place where everything feels both connected and somewhat isolated, I experienced both closeness and distance in ways that shaped how I moved through the world. Over time, my life brought seasons of deep loss, the unraveling that comes with divorce, and significant relationship changes that forced me to stop and look inward in a way I hadn’t before.

There were moments where I felt exhausted from holding everything together, unsure of what direction to take, and disconnected from my own sense of clarity. Those seasons were not easy, but they became turning points. They led me into years of intentional inner work, learning how to slow down, sit with discomfort, reflect honestly, and rebuild from the inside out instead of trying to push forward through force or expectation.

Through that process, I began to understand the value of steadiness over urgency, reflection over reaction, and self-trust over outside validation. What started as a personal need for clarity and grounding gradually became something I felt called to share.

Grace Guidance was created from that place—not from having everything figured out, but from having lived through the process of losing your footing and learning how to find it again. It is a space built on understanding, empathy, and lived experience, where reflection is honored, and people are supported in reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels steady, honest, and real.

Guiding principles of grace

My approach at Grace Guidance is shaped by a few core beliefs that have come from my own experience and the work I’ve done to rebuild and reconnect with myself over time.

First, I trust that every person carries their own inner wisdom. Life has a way of layering on noise, responsibilities, expectations, relationships, and the pressure to keep moving forward. Over time, it can become difficult to hear what’s actually true for you. My role isn’t to give answers, but to create a calm, steady space where your own clarity can come forward.

Second, I believe in slowing down. Clarity rarely comes from urgency or reaction. It comes from creating space—space to pause, to breathe, and to look honestly at where you are and what you may need next. This is something I’ve had to learn for myself, and it continues to be a practice.

Lastly, I hold deep respect for each person’s individual path. There is no single right way to heal or grow. Everyone moves through life differently, and that deserves to be met with patience, not pressure. Grace Guidance is a non-judgmental space where you can explore your experience honestly, without needing to perform, explain, or fit into a specific outcome.

Finding your way back to you

When people connect with Grace Guidance, my deepest hope is that they feel a sense of relief. Relief from the pressure to have everything figured out, and the understanding that it is okay to pause and simply be where you are.

I want you to know that you are not broken, and you are not alone in the seasons that call for rebuilding. Many people carry a great deal of responsibility and expectation, often moving through life without much space for themselves. Over time, that can create a quiet disconnection from your own needs and inner clarity.

My intention is not to give you answers, but to offer a space where you can begin to hear your own again. A space where you can slow down, reflect honestly, and reconnect with what feels true for you.

If you leave feeling even slightly more grounded, more understood, and more steady in your next step, then Grace Guidance has served its purpose.

"My ritual for clarity"

"A simple, yet profound practice that anchors me and helps me find clarity is dedicating quiet, uninterrupted time for reflection. Sometimes this looks like sitting peacefully with a cup of tea, journaling my thoughts and feelings. Other times, it's simply stepping away from the day's demands and allowing myself to think without distraction. For me, true clarity rarely arrives amidst busyness or rushing. It emerges in those serene moments when I can truly slow down and be honest with myself about what I'm experiencing and what I genuinely need. This practice of writing or sitting in stillness is invaluable; it helps me untangle my thoughts, separating my authentic needs from external pressures or expectations. This ritual has become a vital reminder that I don't need to solve everything all at once. By giving myself space to pause and reflect, the next step almost always becomes significantly clearer. It's a small habit with immense power, consistently bringing me back to my true self."
